Anna Pike

Anna is a scientist by training and throughout her art practice, biology is never very far away. She works in a variety of media, from traditional oil paint to more experimental media such as fermented clay slip and slime moulds. Her practice explores the fragility and vulnerability found within altered states, often centred on traces left behind. These small, abstract landscapes capture fragmented memories of experience and place.
